'Juvenile' Groups Exchange Fire In Shootout On Temple Campus: Authorities (Updated)

Temple University police are investigating an apparent shootout between two groups on Campus Wednesday evening, Nov. 8, according to security officials.

University police said "two groups of juveniles" near Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue "discharged multiple shots in the direction of each other" around 4:30 p.m. 

No injuries were reported. 

The entire incident was caught on video camera and lasted less than five seconds, said authorities. A security officer across the street witnessed the shooting and immediately alerted University police. 

Temple officials said they contacted Philadelphia School District to identify the teens in the video. 

There will also be increased police presence at Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue in the coming days, they said.

Update: Philadelphia police have released photos of two suspects sought in connection with the shooting. 

Anyone who can identify them should call PPD at 215-686-8477 or submit an anonymous tip on the department's website.
